Compressed Spring Manufacturer
Characteristics of compressed springs
A compressed spring is a helical spring that bears axial loads. It can withstand pressure, with ends that can be open, closed, coiled flat, or ground flat. The cross-section of materials used is mostly circular, but rectangular and multi-strand steel coils are also used. Springs can have both equal pitch and variable pitch. The shapes of compressed springs include cylindrical, conical, barrel-shaped, and hourglass shapes, as well as a small number of non-circular shapes and various tail end variations, depending on design requirements.
There is a certain gap between the coils of the compressed spring, and when subjected to external loads, the spring contracts and deforms, storing potential energy.
