The tower spring is a type of damping spring, characterized mainly by its small size, high load capacity, and variable stiffness, and is widely used in situations with limited space and high loads, as well as in damping devices.

In the same installation space, a tower spring of the same volume can bear greater pressure than a conventional compression spring, meaning it can store more energy and withstand greater pressure under the same amount of deformation.

For certain installation positions that require a small space and high elasticity, using a compression spring with a larger wire diameter could lead to increased costs and a series of problems associated with larger diameters. Reducing the number of coils may also cause the spring to deform continuously under high pressure, drastically reducing its lifespan.

In such cases, a tower spring can be used as a substitute for a compression spring.
