Circular Spring
Due to the addition of process holes, clip springs are easier to disassemble and assemble; however, the protrusions at the installation process holes occupy a large amount of space.
Both hole-type and shaft-type clip springs have the problem of taking up a lot of space. In comparison, elastic retaining rings have a multi-layer structure, commonly using 2-layer and 3-layer designs, and do not have protruding parts.
Elastic retaining rings are very similar to key rings, except that there are notched ends on the wire of the retaining ring for gripping, ensuring that there is no interference with other adjacent components during assembly, making them more convenient to use.
Currently, the advantages of elastic retaining rings are more apparent in situations where frequent disassembly is not required.
